In short: Whiskerglide is a single-player puzzle that runs entirely on your device. It does not ask who you are, does not collect personal information, and sends nothing anywhere.

1Nothing is collected

Whiskerglide has no sign-up, no account and no profile. The game never asks for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos or any other personal detail, and it has no way to identify you.

2What stays on your device

To remember your journey across the frozen lake, the game keeps a small save file in its own private storage on your device. It holds:

the postcard from each lake you have cleared (glides used and lanterns lit), your Weathervane Lake postcards and streak;
which coat, glide trail and painted shore Whisk is wearing (the wardrobe itself is worked out from the regions you have cleared);
simple totals such as glides made and lanterns lit;
your lullaby, ice sound and haptics settings, and whether the first-lake hints have already been shown.

This information is used only to show your progress inside the game. It never leaves your device through Whiskerglide.

3No network traffic

Whiskerglide does not connect to the internet. There are no servers behind it, no online leaderboards, no cloud saves and no remote content. The Weathervane Lake for each day is picked from the calendar date on your device.

4No third parties

The game contains no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party code that could gather information about you. Nothing is shared with, sold to or used by anyone else, and there is no cross-app tracking of any kind.

5Removing your data

You can wipe your progress at any time with “Start over” on the signpost outside Whisk's den. Deleting the app from your device removes its save file completely. Device backups you make yourself through your operating system may include the save, as with any app.

6Young players

Whiskerglide is a gentle game made to be fine for every age. Kids get exactly the same treatment as everyone else: the game learns nothing about who is holding the device, so there is nothing about a child to store or pass on.

7When this page changes

Should a future version of Whiskerglide start treating information differently, the new rules will be written here first and the date at the top of the page moved forward. Playing on after that date means the newer wording is the one in force.
